Blackburn Labour

UPDATE: The lefty blogosphere doesn't rest. New (unofficial) logo generator here and LabourList competition here!

Smashie and NiceyThe "create your own Conservative logo" tool has now been taken down after 22 hours of abuse by anti-Tory bloggers and activists. Visitors to the site are now presented with a message from its creator observing that he was "wrong to expect everyone to use it sensibly" and that " Labour supporters have a fair bit of wit about them". How true!

Over 2,300 images were created in just 20 hours after the admin of the Conservative Future Twitter alerted the world to the tool just after midnight on Friday morning and we followed up with this post (and apparently the Republicans tried something similar in 2004).

Here's our Top Ten pick of some of the best - Smashie and Nicey style!

Tom Harris was one of the first onto the case:

10:Britain needs slogans not action

Kez Dugdale points out electoral and cultural reality north of the border:

An effort by North Coast and Cumbraes Labour Party is thankfully more pithy than their name:

8:Old Etonians Rule

We liked this from one of our readers:

7:Green policies. Blue Rinse.

Alex Ross is thrilled by the prospect:

6:Fingers Crossed

Daryn McCombe from our comments:

5:torylogo_10_darren

The double-barreled but still Labour Grace Fletcher-Hackwood liked trees before 2005:

From "John" over at Tom Harris' comments:

3:Policy free since 2005

Alex Smith from the comments over at LabourList:

But Will Parbury takes the number one spot with this "Alan Clark tribute"

But Labour activist can't take all the credit. A special mention should also go to Tory Bear for this dig at Tom Harris' blogging:
