...or so says the Lancastrian straight out of central casting in this clever bit of city branding from coastal West Lancashire. This arthouse-style film is designed to "show the charming continental side" of Blackpool:
It's on BBC News channel and online so it stands a chance of being the first video produced by local government in the North to go viral (although that is still a big ask).
Well at least they didn't spend £60,000 on copying a logo from a council 90 minutes up the M6 (or across the Irish Sea).
Apparently even a Tory council can get some things right!
UPDATE: Discussing this with Labour social media people @MarkHanson and @luke_bozier on Twitter (we are @blackburnlabour), the similarities with this Boddingtons campaign from 1992 suddenly occurred to this editor. You think it's all glossy and then - bang - there's the North West accent. Great stuff!
