This site is developed and maintained for free by local volunteers, who were very flattered by a blog comment suggesting it had been "developed by the Number 10 [Downing Street] crowd". The site has never received any funding from Council or Parliamentary allowances. Any running costs, such as hosting, are met by Blackburn Labour Party.
The site is powered by the brilliant Open Source content management system Joomla, hosted by Bluehost and uses a template which was developed from JA Purity by JoomlArt.
